Recommended dosage and usage: Take as recommended by your health care professional. To help reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea and Clostridium difficile associated diarrhea: Adults, take 1-2 capsules once daily for the duration of the antibiotic therapy and the following 5 days. Take Bio-K+ at least 2-3 hours after taking antibiotics. To preserve the enteric coating properties, do not chew, crush or open the capsules.

Caution and Warning: If symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhea) occur, worsen or persist beyond 3 days, discontinue use and consult a health professional. Do not use if the safety seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.

Contraindications: Do not use if you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea or severe abdominal pain. Do not use if you have an immunocompromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteriod treatment).
